On October 28, after three days of retreat, at 10:00 a.m. In the Santo Domingo de Guzmán parish, in Mexico City, with great joy we celebrate the religious profession of Berlit Jafreisi Díaz Amador, on the day of the holy apostles Simon and Judas, and with the significant phrase of Jeremiah, chosen by her: “You have seduced me Lord.”

The celebration took place in the company of the sisters from Mexico, family and friends, in which Berlit said her generous yes to God, who consecrated her, and we all prayed for her fidelity to the gift of her vocation.

In the homily, Father Julio Cesar, from the Dominican Republic, from the Voluntas Dei Institute, encouraged her to live very united to Christ, renewing her encounter with Him every day through prayer and community life, and being a witness and presence of His love, being open to the will of God wherever it is sent and responding with great generosity.

The newly professed was received into the congregation with some words of welcome from M. Margarita Chico Sacristán, Provincial Superior, who encouraged her to identify more and more with Jesus every day, so that, in the coming years of formation, she will be configured so that the moment of her perpetual profession can be lived, not as a sacrifice, but as a privilege for knowing she is loved for the beautiful mission of evangelizing by educating. He reminded her that as a Conceptionist she is called to be the presence of Mary Immaculate in the world.

The sisters present also welcomed her with a fraternal hug. Likewise his mother and aunt, present at the celebration.

We finished the celebration with food, totally Mexican, in one of the parish patios. We were accompanied by the nuns and formations from other congregations and the lay people attending the Eucharist, all of them parishioners and acquaintances of the sisters.
