Religious

On March 6, 1988, during the days of confessions at school God's time, the beginning of Lent, raised me a question that no one had ever done to me: "Have you ever thought about being religious?" And ... in response, I laughed out loud and said, "I? religious? Nooo! I really like to dance! And I want to be a doctor. "

While living in Santo Domingo, in my house there were goats (goats), and in those days, a goat abortion. Mom asked me to take once the fetus kid at school (God's time) to put him in the biology lab ... Me I had such a bad mom asked me, "And you're the one who wants to be a doctor?". This experience gave me an answer: "doctor, of course, no" ... so I put more effort into my search ... "Well, I'll see" It was my inner expression ... I started going to vocational retreats to which I invited the priest, of course with the Passionist Sisters, also educators! And meanwhile, they continued more things going on that, for anyone may sound trivial, but for me at that time were of utmost importance.

The two most significant for me: first, a time of prayer in the small chapel of the school, organized by seminarians studying with us, in which the Lord gave me, as an invitation, his words "No one has greater than one's life for one's friends" (Jn 15, 13).

Is. 41,10” Ante esto… ¿Cómo decir que no? …but it was not very safe to say yes ... that being an educator I do not even like much ... but ... I kept looking, to "see".

After a year of cohabitation (one per month), visits to the community of the Passionist Sisters, and accompanying the priest, the sisters told me that it was time to make a decision ... to not visit or the call until you decide where to follow the Lord, because they saw clear that I wanted to follow him, but my heart was not Passionist.

At school the Sisters also made livings, but no one had noticed that I could be interested in attending, so I was not invited ... finally I was invited to a weekend, and after a short time ... well, I said, "we'll see"! I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help, and my righteous right hand will hold '.
